Hang on, time seems to have spun suddenly backwards. It's two years ago, surely? Everyone's ill and we've been having terrible nights. Well, if LB has to have chicken pox (and it is pretty much obligatory and I do definitely want him to have it in childhood) he could have chosen a much worse time. How can I be getting another cold when I've still got sinusitis and all the other symptoms from the last one? Double cold? Twin colds? Cold backing up for a fresh start?

I wish to complain. (Although a silver lining is that I've had to take today off anyway to look after PB. I wouldn't have got much good work done today).

LB is sleeping *much* better. 7pm until nearly 6am almost every night for the past 3 weeks. This is very, very good (especially for me, who doesn't usually get up with him at 6. PB seems entirely fine today. Which is, in one way, great, but in another makes me anxious. The best conclusion is that it was just another febrile convulsion but the fact that he hasn't really seemed ill before or after makes me worried that it's something else ( Read more... )
